A Rack and Panel Connector is usually square or rectangular in shape and is primarily designed to connect the device and the equipment rack. They have the options of signal, power, RF (Coax, Twinax, Triax) Quadrax, and fiber optic contacts depending on the series chosen. They are often blind mate designs to allow easy installation of avionics program boxes into airframes.
